(“Agra” or “the Group”)
TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of best disclosure practices, shareholders are advised that Agra’s profit after tax,
basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year ended 31 July 2025
are expected to increase by between 53% and 59% compared to the prior period.
This improvement follows a challenging prior year, shaped by strategic investments in
expanding Agra’s footprint, upgrades to retail branches, as well as the impact of a prolonged
drought. These investments are now bearing fruit, contributing to improved operational
efficiency.
Improved rainfall throughout the country has brought much-needed relief to the agricultural
sector, allowing farmers to begin recovering and re-engaging with the market. Agra also
benefited from the recovery of previously written-off debts, which contributed positively to this
year’s profit.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Agra’s auditors and
shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares until publication of
the financial results for the year ended 31 July 2025. The final results will be released on
NENS on or about 24 October 2025.
