APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with section 3.59 of the Namibia Securities Exchange (“NSX”) Listing
Requirements, shareholders are advised that the Bank of Namibia has approved the
appointment of Mr Louis van der Riet as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Capricorn
Group, with effect from 4 November 2025.
Mr van der Riet is a Chartered Accountant (Namibia/South Africa) with extensive experience
in the auditing and financial services sectors. He served as senior audit partner at
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Namibia for many years, during which time he was the
engagement partner for the audit of Capricorn Group. His deep understanding of Capricorn
Group’s operations and the broader financial services industry will add significant value to the
Board.
The Board welcomes Mr van der Riet and looks forward to his valuable contribution to
Capricorn Group.
