COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak

Following our communication to you early last week, The Namibian Stock Exchange and Transfer Secretaries remains fully operational during the lockdown. We have taken further steps to ensure the health and safety of our clients and our employees.

In heeding the call of His Excellency, Dr Hage G Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia for a partial lockdown that will become effective on 27 March 2020, we have taken to following steps:

• NSX and TS employee remote working arrangements are being finalized
• Three (3) staff members will be present in the office on rotation each week
• Our physical office will not be accessible to clients
• General public to send documents by post (PO Box 2401, Windhoek, Namibia)
• Proxy forms & enquiries to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (TS related work)
• NSX queries to be send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
• Arrangements have been done with stockbrokers and custody departments for transferring/splitting of script and collection thereof
• Our staff still have access to emails and virtual meeting technology (if the need arises) and can communicate as before, except on a physical face to face basis
• Our office is fully operational and will continue to process instructions as usual.
